How You Can Implement Well-Architected ‘Zero Trust’ Hybrid-Cloud Computing Beyond ‘Lift and Shift’: Cloud-Enabled Digital Innovation at Scale with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)-DevSecOps-MLops: 2022 New York State Cyber Security Conference Presentation, Albany, New York::
387 Pages: YouTube MP4 Video Presentation: https://youtu.be/1gd6mKeHJuw :
Abstract
Exponential improvements in Cloud Computing architectures and capabilities offer unprecedented speed and agility for global Digital Innovation along with much needed integration of Smart Automation and Cyber Resilience at scale. However, as evident from industry surveys of business and technology executives, most need help in getting up to speed with the rapidly evolving Cloud technology platforms and architectures. Given the rapidly accelerating pace and sophistication of global cyber-attacks threatening critical IT and OT infrastructures, advancing beyond “legacy” on-premises and virtualized data centers is not a matter of discretionary choice, but a matter of existential survival. As Silicon Valley-Wall Street-Pentagon Digital pioneer ‘born on the cloud’ and MIT-Princeton Faculty-SME for
Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Cybersecurity-Cryptography and
Quantum Computing practices, we advance vendor-agnostic product-neutral Network-Centric Cloud Computing applied industrial practices. Drawing upon our Big-3 Cloud Computing Network Partner practices with comparative understanding of the leading Cloud Computing Providers and related Cloud Computing implementation and migration strategies, we advance technology leaders’ understanding about the key Cloud Computing implementation-migration strategies and related technological- architecture issues hence enabling systematic Cloud adoption.

As Silicon Valley-Wall Street-Pentagon Digital pioneer ‘born on the cloud’ and MIT-Princeton Faculty-SME for
Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Cybersecurity-Cryptography and Quantum Computing practices, we advance vendor-agnostic product-neutral Network-Centric Cloud Computing applied industrial practices. Drawing upon our Big-3 Cloud Computing Network Partner practices with comparative understanding of the leading Cloud Computing Providers and related Cloud Computing implementation and migration strategies, we advance technology leaders’ understanding about the key Cloud Computing implementation-migration strategies and related technological- architecture issues hence enabling systematic Cloud adoption.

Advancing Hedge Funds Chief Investment Officer Practices: Model Risk Management with Auto Machine Learning: JP Morgan and Goldman Sachs Practices Case Studies: AI & Machine Learning for Risk & Uncertainty Management Practice Series. We introduce Risk Management Models using JP Morgan’s pioneering focus on Investment Performance, Analytics, and Risk. We build understanding about Model Risks with focus on Value-at-Risk (VaR), the most prominent financial risk valuation models in use across global practices. AI & Machine Learning (ML) are introduced in terms of the Statistical Probabilistic Analytics underlying the performance of such Models. We advance beyond
Normality and Linearity assumptions with sophisticated Models while introducing Bayesian Inference as a complement to above models to mitigate Model Risks often attributed to Frequentist Methodologies.
AI & ML Algorithms and Models from the JP Morgan AI-ML portfolio motivate focus on Big Data driven Automated Machine Learning to enable Model Risk Management inspired by Goldman Sachs’
pioneering focus on Model Risk Management and Uncertainty Management. Advancing beyond Risk to Uncertainty which is increasingly characterizing emerging global financial markets, we underscore the need for Augmented Intelligence characterizing Smart Minds smartly using Smart Tools with illustrative cases and examples.

Recently, academia, practitioners, and policy makers have focused much attention on financial technology start-ups (FinTech) and the integration of digital technology innovations in encumbent financial players (TechFin). The current special issue will contain articles of significant reference value that integratively apply the above three lenses or synthesis thereof to advance applied research and practice 'outcomes' of greatest impact. For instance, analogous to the field of medicine, the "time is right" for the Information Systems field to advance with the current special issue, which encourages applied Information Systems Outcomes* research and practice using lenses such as Translational Research** among others.

Advancing Cyber Risk Insurance Underwriting Model Risk Management beyond VaR
to Pre-empt and Prevent the Forthcoming Global Cyber Insurance Crisis (June 24, 2017).
Mainstream insurance industry practitioners have adopted Value-at-Risk (VaR) from global Quantitative Finance practices as the predominant cyber insurance model being oblivious to both distinguishing characteristics of cyber-risks as well as statistical properties of VaR. Such widespread misapplication of VaR for cyber risk insurance underwriting unless abated and corrected is expected to lead to a global cyber-insurance crisis that may dwarf the worldwide economic shock from the global financial crisis.
Given worldwide high impact of increasingly global cyber-attacks, the current R&D advances cyber risk
insurance underwriting model risk management beyond VaR to preempt and prevent the forthcoming global cyber-insurance crisis.

How to Manage Risk (After Risk Management Has Failed): http://ssrn.com/abstract=2538401 . Advancing Beyond Basel & 'Normal' VaR for Managing Risk & Uncertainty https://www.yogeshmalhotra.com/risk.html:
Dr. Yogesh Malhotra's Market Risk presentation of January 26, 2012 formed the foundation for advancing the PRMIA post-VaR Quantitative Finance Risk Curriculum subsequently in course of Kellogg School of Management PRMIA Executive Education Program. In that presentation, he had
strongly recommended Financial Market Risk analysts to start looking beyond VaR and seriously considering Expected Shortfall models. Within few weeks, on February 28, 2012, Risk.net published that the BIS Basel Committee was considering ditching VaR as a means of calculating Market Risk Capital.

Post- Doc AI-ML-Quant-Cyber-Crypto-Quantum-Risk Computing-Cyber-Risk-Networks Engineering Thesis, AI-ML-Quant-Cyber-Crypto-Quantum-Risk Computing-Cyber- Risk-Networks Engineering
Given history of model risks associated with VaR, we investigate if current reliance of cyber insurance modeling on VaR entails model risk. We develop frameworks to benchmark relative levels of tail risks and systemic risks associated with cyber risk vis-à-vis financial risks typically modeled with VaR. Our analysis reveals that cyber risk entails exponentially higher tail risks and systemic risks thus making VaR unfit for reliance as the primary risk model for cyber insurance modeling. We develop specific frameworks of model risk management for cyber insurance modeling and demonstrate their empirical application in model risk management. We distinguish between model risks arising from the choice
of specific quantitative models from those arising from the choice of quantitative methodologies. We demonstrate how to manage model risks associated with VaR. We also offer alternative coherent risk measures as better alternatives to VaR and empirically demonstrate their application.
